Watu Ulo Beach Watu Ulo Beach is located in south of Jember city , in a small town named Ambulu . Watu Ulo in Javanese language means stone and Snakes. Watu Ulo beach is one beach in the Jember city, there was a stone shaped like a snake body which according to legend is part of the body of a dragon who becomes the guardian south coast. Watu Ulo consists of several parts, the head in Banyuwangi, the body in Watu Ulo Beach and the tail is located at Puger We can go there by car, motorcycle, and bus tour. There are several routes when we comes from outside the town of Jember: 1. From Surabaya - Pasuruan - Probolinggo Lumajang – Tanggul - Jember - Ambulu - Watu Ulo Beach 2. From Denpasar - Banyuwangi - Jember - Ambulu – Watu Ulo Beach 3. For those who come from Surabaya, there are two alternatives when we arrive in Lumajang: a. Turn left you will through Tanggul city to Jember city, and b. If you take a straight direction past the route as follows: Lumajang - Yosowilangun - Kencong - Balung - Ambulu - Watu Ulo beach Ticket to entry Watu Ulo beach not to expensive, we only pay Rp. 5000 we can already see the beauty of Watu Ulo beach. And for the parking we only pay Rp.2000. Most people say the most striking beauty is of the body snake because of the many legends that make people curious. But in my opinion the most striking beauty when there is eye sunset.
