Wax on! Wax off! This can only mean we are back in Karate Week learning some new things. In Fitness Adventures we are going to start off by warming up with the Bubble Ninja game and focusing on chopping all the bubbles. Then we will move on to our workout and practice our kicks (only while we are inside the hoop), heel stomps in between the cones, and cool down with relaxing Yoga. We have big news for Dance Adventures parents: ITS RECITAL TIME! Your little dancers have been working hard all semester long for this moment and it is finally here. Make sure to look for your childs time and date at your center or in your emails and if you have any questions call our office (1-888-694-9678). In Flippers we are going to be focusing on our Ninja rolls again but this time we are trying to pop up as fast as we can after we finish the roll. Then we are going to go through the tunnel as fast as we can and on to the balance beam. Half way across the beam we are going to do a squat and finish walking across the rest of the way for an additional challenge. In Sports Adventures we are going to be playing Baseball again. We will warm up with our “W” agility drill and going backwards and forwards. We will review our fielding with the big ball to be able to focus on chomping down with our hands and then switch to the smaller ball after we have that skill down. In our hitting practice we are going to work on running to First Base after we hit the ball. Thanks for being a part of our programs and remember... A HEALTHY TODAY IS A HEALTHY TOMORROW!
