We Make Good Theatre at OTP! Last Fridays opening of A STEADY RAIN was as strong an opening as we couldve imagined for this tough and seemingly relentless look into the dark hearts of two men at once connected by history at the same time they are pulled apart by that very same connection. Returning to the stage after a 12 year hiatus, Dave Richey gives a solid performance full of angst, desire and hatred; and Brett Nichols in an all too rare dramatic appearance shows the depths he is capable of finding in this character torn between the compassion he feels for his partner and friend and the self-satisfaction he feels by being one up for a change. Its a riveting performance. Kudos to Nichole Case who has directed a very fine show... I love it that we make good theatre...Dont miss A STEADY RAIN.
