We Sarawakians are a very lucky lot as when natural disaster like floods happens, our State leaders are around and not on holiday or shopping overseas, checking and supervising personally the evacuation and relief efforts and to see the extend of the damage caused by the floodings. We see them at the barrage, in the kampongs and small towns which are affected by the floods. We see some in boats and another knee deep in flood water whiile inspecting kampongs that are a few feet underwater. We see the BN leaders and Opposition leaders going round together meeting those affected by the flooding! BEING Sarawakians I am very sure non of them will be bedridden in the next few days with E Coli or whatever other diseases, as our leaders has enough common sense not to drink dirty flood water
