We all have had one . Be it a friendship or relationship where we have given our all to another person and they leave our life anyway . For whatever reason that person does not value the relationship the way we do . They will not bend or compromise , or simply find it easier to reinvent themselves with another person instead of trying to repair an already existing relationship . Those of us left behind struggle with a great many feelings and even if we dont show it we bare scars of inadequacy and betrayal . There is a part of us that knows someday these people will show up in our lives again . We rehearse in our heads what we will say when that time comes . But a funny thing happens along the way . We heal , we move on with our lives and find other relationships that give us as much joy and dont require as much effort . I am no different than any of you . Last week it happened to me . Do you know what I found ? I found that my life was already full of happiness and love and trust from those who valued me as much as I did them . I simply did not care anymore . With that I found the closure to put the bad behind me for good !
