We all know and often hear it said that: If the Lord brings you - TopicsExpress

We all know and often hear it said that: If the Lord brings you to it, He will see you through it. Some years ago my husband and I were camping out in one of those places here in Africa where there is no internet or phones, quite removed from all that is counted as civilization. Early one morning I was waiting for him to wake up, it was still dark and the birds had just started announcing the day, I quietly lay in bed and talked to the Lord. The Lord showed me something that was so big I just wanted to tell the world about it, shout out and write a book but then it dawned on me that I had no clue how to write and get something across to others in a way that would make them understand exactly what I was talking about. All day I was bursting with this revelation and in fact remember that excitement to this day. We finished our time in the bush and came home and I thought about attending a writing course, in fact a friend sent me information about such a course - even while I had never mentioned such desire or need to her. I looked at the requirements and realized that I did not even qualify to attend this course as my experience in writing was non existent. Some months later I went to visit family in the States and got introduced to Facebook. There I did mention my desire to start writing and was given a book on publishing your own book and again realized that I was not even close to that stage - again - not qualified. Over time the Lord Himself has shown me what to write and what not, where to start and when to stop, not to be long-winded and opinionated nor over-formal and high to come by. Ever so often I will hear Him ask; and the point is? only to realize that I am getting carried away. Very often He will tell me that it is too soon, not to post or delete most of what I thought needed to be shared. Then later on I would see even clearer what I though I saw or realize that it was something that I need to know and sort out in my own life first, before sharing with others. This note is a big thank you to everybody who compliments me on my writing but most of all a testimony of how the Lord will be with you when what you are doing is from Him and above all that He is most capable of teaching us about ALL things. Nothing is too big for Him, His arm is not too short to help and He is indeed true to His word, He does tell us what to say and how to say it when we are doing it for Him and in His name to His glory.
