We all make mistakes. OK, you have made a mistake. Guess what? You are human. And you are going to make mistakes. You have made them in the past and you are not through yet. So now, what are you going to do? Learn to have some compassion for yourself. Most mistakes are not fatal. If they were, you would be gone already. Yet, even though you have made some errors in the past, you have survived them. You have learned from them. You have even ended up benefiting from some of them. What is so bad about that? Of course you dont want to purposely make mistakes. By all means expect to do your best. Yet, when you are not perfect, avoid getting get all torn up about it. Do not hide from the mistakes. Do not cover them up. Instead, clean up the damage and learn from what went wrong. Transform the mistake from a negative to a positive. When you do that, then every mistake you make is one you will never have to make again. Because, you have learned the lesson it was meant to teach you. You have GREATNESS within you! Les Brown
