We are beyond thrilled to be under contract on our house ! It has been a long 5 years since we bought the acreage in Shelby Co. We have been through 6 separate periods of being on & off the market, we have taken every criticism along the way as an opportunity to transform our beautiful home into something even more warm & welcoming. We have made extraordinary memories in the 14 years we have lived there. We have made incredible life long friends & had the pleasure of living next to some of the most amazing neighbors God could have Blessed us with. It is a bittersweet celebration for sure. Our Realtor told us that we just had to find the right buyer who would love and cherish the house as much as we have. Well yesterday we found that buyer or should I say our house chose that buyer. Dont believe in Devine intervention or that everything happens for a reason? Listen to this: 1) this couple visited our home within 2 hours of it being on the market 2 months ago. 2) we have had 40 showings in those 2 months but no offers 3) they almost put an offer on another house this week but couldnt get our house out of their minds 4) at the last minute I decided to write a heartfelt Welcome to our Home letter which included 5 reasons why they should chose our home. I wanted them to know what the house meant to us & how important it was for us to get the right family in there for our neighbors & for the soul of our home. 5) The letter is what touched them and made them want our home and the boys told me not to do it ! 6) they in turn wrote us a letter thanking us & guess what ? They go to our Church, their kids go to the same school our kids went to, they have sat in front & behind us in church & we have commented on how adorable their kids are & now they will celebrate First Communions, Dances, Proms, Graduations, Holidays & Birthdays for years to come in this house just like we have! Their letter moved me to tears ! Finally - they are a blended family just like we are a blended family ! Think God wasnt in charge ? Think again :) Welcome to your new home Wilson Family ! With Tears & Goosebumps we will turn our Home over to you on 8-8.
