She is Greyhound Pets of America Greater Orlandos first injured Greyhound of the new year, with a ruptured/torn Achilles tendon. Tendon damage is difficult to repair, with a demanding recuperation. An external fixator was implanted into the bones of her left rear leg to render it immobile so the tendons can heal. The right rear leg is bandaged due to two serious pressure sores that require daily bandage changes. She was a model patient and was hospitalized from Wednesday, January 8 to Monday, January 13.
