We are hard pressed on every side, but not crushed; perplexed, but not in despair; persecuted, but not abandoned; struck down, but not destroyed.(2Cor4:8-9) As workers in Gods vineyard we are just but earthen vessels, jars of clay. Fragile, weak and worthless but made strong and valuable because of Gods message of salvation in Jesus that we were entrusted to carry. Sometimes our clay jars need to be hard pressed and struck down so that Gods message of salvation will spill out for all to hear. But we have this treasure in jars of clay to show that this all-surpassing power is from God and not from us.(v7) It is a great privilege to carry the Gospel message of Jesus. An even greater blessing to be able to share it. Magandang umaga kaibigan.
