We are heartbroken to announce that Baby has passed. She started to fail yesterday, despite being on the strongest antibiotics. Her frail little body had been fighting for too long. She could no longer regulate her body temperature, was presenting w neurological symptoms and as of this morning had developed pneumonia. The vet contacted us early this morning and said she was suffering and it was time to let her go. RIP sweet baby. You deserved so much better than you got. Sophie, the only remaining Chikadee puppy, 1 of 5, is doing well & able to be released today. Thank you to all who have supported us since we took these last 2 puppies. We had hoped both could be saved, but Baby was too far gone.
