Mission Critical Systems, a premier value added information security reseller and consulting company with over 16 years in business., is in search of a Security Engineer based in Atlanta, Georgia, and a second Engineer in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Responsibilities for this position include : · Pre-sales consulting around network security strategies · Professional implementation services · Post Implementation support · Documentation of systems · Development of proposals and statements of work · Project management Along with an IT security background and knowledge of the market, the following technical skills and qualifications are required: · Check Point CCSE and three years hands-on experience · Security products Implementation experience · Advanced knowledge of networking including TCP/IP, routing and subnetting · Experience with Windows 2008/XP/7, Unix and Linux operating systems · Extensive troubleshooting experience Additional Preferred Skills: · Advanced level McAfee, Aruba and Websense skills preferred · Certifications and/or designations in security areas such as CCSP, CISSP, or JCIE. Additionally, the ideal candidate should be well versed in business processes and functions and possess excellent writing and speaking skills. He or she should exhibit strong presentation skills with regards to discussing technologies; and, be able to professionally communicate with customers at all levels of an organization.
