We are in need of 6 volunteers to help check in the kids before competitions. This is an easy job and consists of: • Arrive at the school at the same time as students for the Saturday competitions • Receive your check in sheet from Mr. Marchese • As the kids bring out their equipment (instruments, uniform, etc), you check off everything/everybody on your list. The lists are detailed right down to the above the ankle black socks that each band member is required to wear. • Once the student meets the items on the list, you instruct them to take their equipment to the trailer where Band Dads help get everything loaded. • Once all students are checked in, you return your sheet to Mr Marchese as he uses this for attendance on the bus. If you can help with this, please let me know the dates you can work and I will get the volunteer schedule filled out. We normally only need for 4 volunteers for this but since our band is growing in numbers, we need more people to help check in to speed up the process of getting to the competition. As always, you help is very much appreciated.
