We are looking at dangerously cold temperatures over the next few days. If you have an outside pet, PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE bring them inside! If you do not want them to have full run of the house, at least allow them into a garage or laundry room. These temperatures can cause death to an animal with no way to get warm. If you must leave them outside, make sure they have proper shelter. Purchase a pet safe heater mat for their shelter. Make sure unfrozen water is available at all times. Offer them extra food, it takes more calories than normal to stay warm during this weather.
