We are looking for an experienced electrician to join an exciting and fast growing team of electricians and apprentices. The company is based in St Albans and work will mainly be in this and surrounding areas, regular jobs also come up in Hertfordshire, Bedfordshire and North London, occasionally you will be required to go elsewhere. The candidate: • Must be capable of working as a team and on their own. • Will be required to start and complete jobs in clients houses on their own. • Will be required to help an apprentice learn the trade whilst on site. • Will be experienced across domestic and commercial systems. • Will have ability to read and interpret specifications and drawings. • Will be committed and self-motivated, with very good organisational and problem-solving skills. • Will have a good working knowledge of current electrical standards and regulations. • Will have excellent customer relationship skills. • An ability to work well under pressure and deliver work to meet strict deadlines. The candidate needs to have C+G 2330 Level 2 and 3, C+G 2391 and C+G 2382 or equivalents. The candidate should have completed the NVQ as well. The candidate will need a full clean drivers licence with no points. The candidate must have their own set of tools and drills. Due to the nature of some of our work CRB/DBS checks will be completed on anyone before offers of work given. A fully serviced company van with subsidized petrol, a uniform and a tablet/iPad will be provided to the successful candidate. KG Electrical Contractors is a fast growing business based in St Albans.
