We are not drawing any lessons as a nation tackling the fundamental or root causes of civil unrest in Africa. They all stem from electoral disputes. In 1991, Somalia imploded. Then Rwanda, Burundi, Zaire, Liberia and others followed......Ghanas EC is bent on adding Ghanas name to the list. Folks, who could have ever imagined the Ivory Coast and Kenya could explode? Now they have living scars to remind them not to take social justice for granted. Do we have to learn our lessons the hard way and then ask intellectuals to come and analyse with complex data and graphs how it started? Well the EC is setting a tone for conflagration. Is anyone listening?
