We are now enrolling for the November EMT-Basic course. Phase one: 17th November-check in at NERAMS training centre in Durham UK. You will live with other delegates in rooms of 2-4, separate rooms/showers/toilets for females. The course is self catering, food is provided but you will be responsible for preparing food as part of a rota system. You will undertake classroom and practical learning and will have evening tasks/lessons also. 22nd November-check out. Phase two: (Nov 22nd to Jan 17)-Online modules. You can complete your online modules regardless of where you work around the world. You will have a nominated tutor that you can contact should you need additional support. You will have a monthly check up to track your progress which will keep you on track. Phase three: 17th January 2014- check in at NERAMS training centre in Durham UK. You will now complete a further week of skills training which will bring your phase 1 and 2 training together and build on those skills. This phase will also prepare you for operational tasking. Phase four: Dates TBA (you will have various dates available to you) you are now ready for your clinical deployment. You will work as part of an operational ambulance crew to deal with emergency situations. You will work under the guidance of experienced Paramedics to treat patients in a pre hospital setting. Your clinical placement will be confirmed at time of booking.
