We are proud to announce Billy Sauer as the CrossFit Director of MCCF. Billy comes to us with a phenomenal sports, coaching and CrossFit background. Billy is a Rochester native, who attended McQuaid Jesuit High School and has a decorated hockey career. As a sophomore, they won the Section V Championship and were named 1st Team All-State NY. Billy went on to play Junior hockey for the Chicago Steel (USHL) and committed to the University of Michigan where he was a 4 year starter as goalie. While at Michigan he was voted College Hockey Player of the Month and set the Michigan Hockey Single Season Record w/ a 1.95 GAA and a 92.4 SV% while accumulating a 30-4 record. While at the University of Michigan, he was drafted into the NHL by the Colorado Avalanche, 201st overall and played 3 seasons in the AHL and ECHL. Billy was also the strength and conditioning coach for Hobart & William Smith College. Billy has been doing CrossFit for 5 years in addition to his professional athletic conditioning. He is currently an owner and operator of Parisi Speed School and will be a huge addition to MCCF.
