We are proud to tell you about another outstanding youngster in our community! Adam Kellman and his family have formed a team for the Walk to Cure Arthritis, an event which raises funds and awareness to fight the nations leading cause of disability, helping more than 50 million people who live with arthritis and their families who support them. The walk, which features both a three-mile and a one-mile course, will be held this Saturday, May 3rd, at Thomas Bull Memorial Park in Montgomery, NY. Adam was diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis this past summer. He is an active, energetic 9 year old who enjoys swimming, basketball, baseball, and football. In his downtime he loves to read, play board games, watch movies, hang out with friends, and play video games. Adam wants everyone to know that regardless of his diagnosis, rheumatoid arthritis is not going to stop him from living life! Join Adam and his family on Team Lizzards to help fund arthritis research, education, and community programs, and get us closer to a cure for the millions who suffer from this debilitating disease, including 300,000 children!
