We are reminding people, once again, that our missing person posts are not intended to provoke negative debate or comments about the individual or the circumstances involved. We understand the right of freedom of speech however that does not mean you need to share it here. The appeal is for information that could assist locating the missing person. Negative, judgemental or derogatory comments are not helpful in finding a person who is missing. We would not want to miss the vital piece of information amongst the speculation, arguing or ‘jokes’ that often result from our missing people appeals. Please also remember friends and family members of the missing person may be reading the comments you post.
