We are saddened to say goodbye to an amazing veteran and AMVETS Life member who served his country and fellow veterans with passion and honor. David A. Baker has passed away at the age of 73. A devout Christian, he died June 23, 2014 at his residence from complications of mesothelioma, due to asbestos exposure. David served his fellow veterans for the past 38 years as an award winning Veterans Service Officer. He was inducted into the Ohio Veterans Hall of Fame in November of 2005.
