We are so blessed by the amazing love & support from so many amazing people thru the love of our Angel. I am not going to lie this is tough & every day gets tougher. But, in everyone remembering mommy & her loss of her precious baby. Please keep Nini & Papa Cat in your prayers too as they are grieving the loss of our Angel heavily. Ali is their life just as she is mine. They have been at our side every step in this fight behind the scenes & are often forgotten in their grief. I worry about them. Life following child loss is a constant roller coaster of emotions. Were all over the place with our thinking. Tears erupt when we least expect them. We spout out words that normally we wouldnt say. We get our feelings hurt far more easily that we used to. Why? Because were living with a shattered heart full of broken dreams, unfulfilled expectations, and the loss of our child who meant the world to us. Life is unpredictable and messy for us. We feel so out of control, and so very lost. But at the end of the day. We will get thru this just like Ali did everyday as she fought Battens disease. With her Brave lessons she has taught us & God on our side we will get thru this. We are blessed with all of the friends & family that keep Alis memory alive. All the pics of her. All the stories shared. And knowing that we have you all there as we make a difference in this fight against Battens disease.
