We are so filled in the head with noise. Not only that, we are so quick to believe these thoughts to be true. The consequence of this is that we end up renouncing ever knowing ourselves. We forget who we really are. Behind all the noise is the Truth desiring to be reclaimed. YOU CAN’T DENY YOURSELF FOREVER. A Course in Miracles says that Love desires to know itself. You, Love, are desiring to know yourself. It’s simpler that we think. But, if you succumb to the ego-fear, you train yourselves to believe things like: “It’s too difficult to discover who I am” .. “It’s too painful” .. “It can’t be that easy” .. “People might not like the real me” .. “I may not like the real me” All what I call BFL (BIG FAT LIES) of the ego. These are the culprits that fool us to deny ourselves. A Course in Miracles actually proposes that the right use of denial is to deny these. YOU CAN’T DENY YOURSELF FOREVER The discomforts we go experience throughout the day are not punishments. They are indicators that we are denying some aspect of ourselves. They are “temple bells” asking us to pay attention. Are you not speaking up? Are you staying when you should be leaving? Are you leaving when you should be staying? Are you not taking a leap of faith into something new? For me personally, the leaps into the new are the challenges for me, and I think for so many others, since we live in an increasingly changing world that demands these leaps one after the other. Leap into the new. Leap into the unknown. Leap into the discomfort. Leap into the challenge. Leap into that opportunity you know feels right but also scares you. Don’t deny yourself any longer. You can’t do it forever. The question is when do you want to reclaim yourself; now or later? I for one say go for NOW.
