We are so grateful to Yâ-hwéh for His mighty works in our lives. This one started when we were going to go out of town earlier this year. Yâ-hwéh had been warning me with views of a singularly tall tree falling on my car, but we did not have the funds to have it cut down. Rather, we prayed that He would prevent it from falling and protect my car. But right before we left town, His spirit in me prayed something different, that He would protect our investment in the car. I wondered at it, but didnt quite understand at the moment. When we left, I forgot to park it elsewhere, leaving it in its usual spot. On RD July 2 there was a freak storm focused on the little town where we live, with high winds and icerock precipitation and this was the four winds which are evil, attacking us. It was a time period we were under attack. They blew the lone tree down directly onto my car. We did not cancel the good thing we did to fly back as Yâ-hwéh showed us that we should continue and take care of it later when we returned RD August 4. Now since we stopped praying away harsh winters because our work outside was finished, last winter was harsh as if it had constipated. We have endured bad expenses of heating the house with monthly refills of fuel oil during half the year, Yâ-hwéh provided for it faithfully. The reason for that is that our windows were beautiful 1932 wooden windows with probably 1970s storm windows, so our house leaked heat like a sieve. We had drafts and I felt so badly that my wife would get headaches whenever it would rain, changes of weather. Our hope was to replace these windows but things looked bleak for this winter because of our other project out of town. But Yâ-hwéh again worked this situation for our benefit (Romans 8:28) because the insurance paid for the totalled car exactly what it cost to install the windows. So we thanked Him and prayed it wouldnt get cold again until after the windows were installed, which He also did well. And they are these super energy efficient ones which we were amazed to see how totally they block heat loss. They look like mirrors on infrared, literally. And they have no drafts and have insulation too. Now, the house keeps in the heat of the day all night long and the boiler is off, which is great since we have to wait to get more oil. And Eliysheva hasnt had any headaches when it rains, thanks be to Yâ-hwéh! And we have her vehicle still, which is quite sufficient for now. The windows will save us who knows how much in heating expenses and we needed that much more than that car now. Halleluw Yâhu!
