We are still asking for help still a very long road on recovery and we have no idea how long mom may be without income! OK update on dad! He has been moved out of ICU. Now he has not been up on his own yet because they are being very carefully because of the skin flaps! They take first priority! As those heal they will be doing more and more physical theropy. Obviously he requires more care than they can provide at a rehab facility or in a skilled nursing facility. So what they have is called a select unit it provides more specialized care for him! They will reevaluate him on a week by week basis to determine process as it needs to be whether it be stay there or go to another type of facility. They are saying at least a 6 month recovery period. That being said we have no idea how much of that will be there or at home. Dad is doing well through seems to be in good spirits! He was able to have conversation with all 3 of his grandkids yesterday! That was great for him and them! Lol! They have had him set up on side of bed and that sort of thing so that is good keep him in your thoughts and prayers please!
