We are the official Army OPSEC facebook page. There are numerous ways to verify this. Dont automatically like facebook pages because when you do this, they can see all your information. I went into the likes for our page and went to the ten most recent likes. For 9 out of 10 of these I could see pictures of your families and friends. You are probably not using the most stringent privacy settings. Do this as you are very vulnerable to others to do you harm. Did you know that certain companies, employers and now even schools go on line to check out what you are like, before they approve you for something. We recently produced a new training module for the review of postings for social networking sites. As part of that process, as the government lead I had to approve narrators. Wanting to ensure we had no unsavory characters involved with the project, I went on line and was able to pull up vast amounts of info about the candidates. Anyone can do this. Dont be vulnerable.
