We asked Hon babatunde Olaotan to resign from Amosun Cabinet By Ogbeni Yekeen Olatunji Yusuf Hon Babatunde Olaotan was asked to resign from Amosuns cabinet. One of Hon Babatunde Olaotans Aides speaking with the PM News and PEGA at Official declaration of Hon Babatunde Olaotan from APC to SDP on friday 21st Nov, 2014 at Owode Town hall. He explained that most of HBO supporters had lost faith and confidence in Amosun Led government as a result of his greediness and imposing attitude towards the nomination of who to represent us in various political posts without following due process. We are not fools and we wont be one. he further stated that since Amosun is ready to impose his unpopular candidates on us as he has done during the last Chairmanship Election throughout Ogun State, We are not going to accept it any longer, that is why we opted out of Amosun Political Party with over 5,000 duly registered members. He affirmed their fear grip when Amosun started losing most of his top cabinet definitely something most wrong somewhere which we later knew it is because of the governors abuse of power and selfish interest. Ogbeni Yusuf emphasized on the political tradition and zoning arrangements of Yewa South politics. It is mutually agreed between two zones, Ilaro axis and Ifekowajo axis, that if a Chairman is picked from Ilaro, house of Assembly Candidate is automatically going to Ifekowajo. How will SIA come on board and dictate our norms and practice to us? What audacity does he possess in breaking the law of our land? He should not expect any vote from us. He further explained that Hon Babatunde Olaotan remains the peoples choice in Yewa south for post of House of Assembly compare to the current representative at state house of Assembly Hon Babatunde Edunjobi which has little or no influence in the local government but Mr. Governor is insisting to retain him. We dont want imposition in Yewa South. Enough is Enough! Moreover, our movement from APC to SDP is to show the governor that we have all what it takes to win our local government (Yewa South) and make our people proud at the state house of Assembly, because HBO is the peoples choice come rain come sunshine.
