We can all open our cabinets and notice that we can take food off the shelves and have the option to cook what we want or have a cup of milk or simple as it may seem to have an egg sandwich when we want one. What about the PB and J that we had yesterday ? Did we think twice before we went into the kitchen to make it or just get in the car to the store to buy the bread we ran out of? We take these things for granted because it comes so natural to us and how forgetful we get when it comes to the people we pass along the way that may have had to get their lunch from the soup kitchen up the road! I Keep in mind there are people in our society that are less fortunate than I am and unfortunately I may not be able to help the world but can help the ones that come thru the door of the Refuge in Lumberton. So please keep in mind the next time you want to donate any of your time or community service come on out and help us out here or just come on out and just hang out with us.
