Each person who chooses to clean the earth from the inside out becomes a model for others who may eventually make the same choice. We must start with an honest assessment of our backlog of personal garbage. Are we addressing and clearing out feelings of rage, sadness and fear? Do we take out our own emotional garbage- daily, weekly or even monthly? For most of us the answer is clearly no. And our negligence is beign reflected in our physical world. It is vital that we continue outer recycling and be conscientious consumers as we begin to address our inner pollution and garbage. Recycling and regular emotional cleansing (see chapters 2 and 4) have the power to significantly affect the health and cleanliness of our planet."
