We could have a ruling and thus a rally as soon as Monday! Thank you to Love is Love Movement for this code of conduct we wish to share for the rally: EVENT CODE OF CONDUCT: 1) This is a peaceful protest. Hate and aggression are not welcome. It is valid to be angry and hurt if the decisions are not as we hope, however, it is NOT okay to be aggressive or mean to anybody. 2) There will likely be protesters. IGNORE THEM. Do NOT engage. They are seeking a reaction and validation for their beliefs (i.e., that we will act out irrationally). Silence and the power of love will demonstrate more to them than angry and hateful words. 3) Feel free to bring signs/posters/wear support shirts, etc. As there will be children present, we ask that these not have explicit or vulgar language. 4) Please remember that we are all here for the same purpose. Embrace one another, remain unified, and leave any issues/problems/drama for another time. 5) Last, and most importantly, be kind. Respect and value one another.
