We do not celebrate Thanksgiving, though maybe we should. It feels like the weather is too warm here. That said, if I could find a reliably reproducible copy of the late Charles N. Browns turkey recipe (Kirsten, Liza?) then we might do it next year. Certainly Marianne does a great cranberry sauce. Even though we dont celebrate, Id like to say Im thankful for my kind and wonderful friends, my loving family, and for the chance to work in this crazy industry that I mostly sorta love. Id also like to thank everyone who has picked up a copy of a book Ive worked on, and everyone who has ever downloaded an episode of the podcast (and thanks to Gary for the first 210 episodes!). Id also like to thank every musician who recorded a song Ive hummed, every writer who wrote a story that helped me through the night, and every distiller who made the evening go more gently. 2014 hasnt been an easy year, but its not been a bad one.
