We dont hear much about the basics today. It seems that everything has to be special...innovative...advanced...evolved. What has happened to laying the foundation, to getting back to the basics? All of us must have that basic foundation in every area-education, employment, relationships- if those things are going to last. This is especially true in our spiritual life, our relationship with God. This morning we will be looking at getting back to the basics, coming from two texts this morning: Revelation 2:4-5 and Jeremiah 6: 16-17. Come look with us at the importance of practicing the basics in our faith. TONIGHT!!!!!! FAMILY MOVIE NIGHT!!!!Last month we looked at part one of Revelation Road, and tonight we will see the conclusion. You dont want to miss this exciting movie with a message. Of course, there will be some wonderful snacks! On Monday, October 28th at 6PM, our church is hosting the Baptist Womens World Day of Prayer. There will be a soup supper followed by a wonderful program and time of prayer. This event is for all women of all denominations to come together and pray for mission efforts world-wide. Ladies, you dont want to miss this!
