We drove in a hefty pick-up truck with wheels locked into four-wheel-drive for an hour, and then finally had to stop the truck and walk the final quarter mile. Two men got on each side of Rozanne and at times carried her down the precipitous, muddy slope. It was worth it. The community was waiting in the valley for the first Divine Liturgy in their new building. Pray for this new parish. They are in need, as are most parishes of almost every liturgical item and vestment you can imagine. Donations of new or gently used liturgical items may be sent to our home address in Florida and we will deliver them personally. Financial support may be sent to OCMC designated for The Rucker Family and will enable us to continue partnering with the fledgling Orthodox Church here in Guatemala.
