We find it very difficult, our Father, to bring to a point of focus all of the pieces and divisiveness in our lives. We ask You to draw upon Your long experience with Your children, and out of this special wisdom and understanding, to interpret the words which we say to You in prayer. We are overwhelmed by our great inability somehow to manage the imperfections of life, the imperfections of our own private lives. The clear insight that suddenly becomes dim and often disappears at the moment when we are sure that we could act upon it positively and spiritually. I repeat the cry of Peter, as he began to sink: "Lord, save me!" "Lord, save me!"
