We floated into Wamego on fumes & filled it. I thought I rented a car with a 10 gallon tank. Our overnight campsite in the airport. Guess we arent the only ones. My dad is good at telling the same stories a THOUSAND times, but I heard a new one on this trip. (There is so much road kill in KS). He tells Jessie, 9, that when you go driving in the country you have to bring chalk with you. You get out and draw a circle around each roadkill so that when you drive back by the next day, you know whats new enuf to pick up for dinner. She busts out laughing, not grossed out or anything.
