We follow Jesus because we trust Him and we obey Him because we love Him. (( TRUST )) Matthew 4:18-20 18 And Jesus, walking by the Sea of Galilee, saw two brothers, Simon called Peter, and Andrew his brother, casting a net into the sea; for they were fishermen. 19 Then He said to them, “Follow Me, and I will make you fishers of men.” 20 They immediately left their nets and followed Him. Matthew 9:9 9 As Jesus passed on from there, He saw a man named Matthew sitting at the tax office. And He said to him, “Follow Me.” And he arose and followed Him. The trust of a child... do you have it? That is how the Father wants to be approached by anyone who wants to have Him as a Father indeed. Matthew 18:2-3 2 Then Jesus called a little child to Him, set him in the midst of them, 3 and said, Assuredly, I say to you, unless you are converted and become as little children, you will by no means enter the kingdom of heaven. (Matthew 11:25 At that time Jesus answered and said, I thank You, Father, Lord of heaven and earth, that You have hidden these things from the wise and prudent and have revealed them to babes.) (( LOVE )) John 14:15 If you love me, keep my commandments. John 15:9-10, 14 9 “As the Father loved Me, I also have loved you; continue in My love. 10 If you keep My commandments, you will abide in My love, just as I have kept My Father’s commandments and abide in His love. 14 You are My friends if you do whatsoever I command you. That is the basis for any relationship. You must know how to trust and learn how to love.
