We got home past our kids bed time tonight...We sat on my bed and talked about our day for a few minutes and then I sent them to go get ready for bed. My two oldest actually went and got ready and climbed in bed all by themselves. They didnt even ask for hugs or kisses just fell right to sleep. I still had my two year old sitting with me and she lays on my pillows and covers herself up with her blanky and says, I go nunight wanting to take advantage of the snuggle time, I snuggle right up and she pats my head and kisses me goodnight. She tucked me in and I fell asleep only to wake up to water running in my bathroom and her in my bathroom sink with toothpaste everywhere. Doh! At least she remembered to brush right? Love that kid!
