We got our first review for THE ANGRY MAN AND THE WEAVER on Amazon. Not too shabby. 5 Stars The Angry Man and the Weaver: Re-imagining the Odyssey (Kindle Edition) Unbelievably good! Mescavage and Taylor (Beauchman?) surpass their stunning Lunar Wolf Chronicles! I was captivated from the first page and practically inhaled the book! The language was both poetic and hypnotic! I found myself seeing the story as much as reading it. I had to almost shake myself at times to be back in my day to day reality. At first I found it hard to keep track of the characters because of their Native American like names. But once I stopped trying to remember their Greek names and just let them be Angry Man, Weaver, Sunshine, Glorious, Standing Wolf etc. I really began to get lost in the tale. It is at once exactly the first part of the Odyssey, and yet an entirely new epic. I loved all the characters. Angry Man (Odysseus) was a sympathetic rascal and a hero. Weaver (Penelope) was a super heroine yet still a vulnerable woman. Their alternating narrations made them solid people. It was almost like two old friends telling you of an adventure they shared. Ugh! I hated Helen of Troy and the arrogant Achilles, but even they had their sympathetic moments. All the characters ( even the Olympian gods) were multidimensional and touchingly human. I found the historical and archeological updates amazing. We never really knew this story before. Bravo for this tale of destiny, love and adventure made fresh after 3500 years. Homer, Mescavage and Beauchman own this tale from now on! I cant wait for the sequel!https://youtube/watch?v=hf4IoxEUmHM
