We got some very bad news this morning. The vet did exploratory surgery and found cancer. It had spread. The vet said that the outlook was not good. Even with surgery to remove the cancer and chemo she would probably have only lived for a few months. So we made the tough decision to put her to sleep. I am not usually the kind of person that gets really emotional after the loss of a pet but this was a pretty sudden thing. I was sad but ok until I went to feed the dogs and out of habit grabbed the two bowls. I am mostly glad that she is no longer in pain. I normally dont share a lot of personal stuff on my page but when I originally asked for advice when she first started getting sick you guys were so helpful and caring. I have had many people reach out to me not only on the couple of threads I posted but also on a one on one basis and I cant explain how much I appreciate it and how much you all meant to me. Thanks again everyone. Now back to the usual silly jokes.
