We had 2 brave people join us for our Canal Walk on Saturday. It looked like rain, but, held off for us. The highlight of the day was a very cooperative Black Tern! We all got great scope views of him. What a pretty bird!, and it was the first time any of us had seen one! There was a very vocal Mockingbird with quite the repertoire of songs, many Catbirds, Song Sparrows, Yellow Warblers, Cedar Waxwings, Blue Jays, Robins, Eastern Kingbirds, and of course, the resident Great Blue Heron. It was a fun day!
