We had 52 trick or treaters come to the door last night. Hardly a record. Weve had 110+ in earlier years. The largest group of 9 that came were being carried in an open trailer, towed by a golf cart wif string lights running all around it. Quite a sight to see. Pam took a few photos but they came out too dark. One little girl, around 6 years old, from a smaller group, held out her hand for her treats instead of having me drop them into her bucket. She scrutinized the two fun sized candy bars for a moment and gave one to her friend. When asked you dont like that kind, sweetie?, her mom called up from the bottom of the stairs that she has a nut allergy and was giving those to the other kids. I thought that was nice so I rummaged around in the bowl for a few plain hershey bars her.
