We had a Doctor from Brazil on the show yesterday. Made a great point about Ebola, on which he has written a book on the subject. The media is jumping on this campaign of fear in droves to capture ratings right now. But, if we get ourselves healthy, we can control so much of this fear. He talked about simply using baking soda to get our bodies in an alkaline state so that disease cannot penetrate the cell. Baking soda? Yes! And its cheap. “In 1918 and 1919 while fighting the ‘flu’ with the U. S. Public Health Service it was brought to my attention that rarely anyone who had been thoroughly alkalinized with bicarbonate of soda contracted the disease, and those who did contract it, if alkalinized early, would invariably have mild attacks.- Arm and Hammer I know this sounds simple-stupid, but when millions were ACTUALLY dying from the 1918 epidemic, those that took the baking soda regimen did not die. Another thought, If this is the pandemic that will wipe us out, why in the worst sanitations, worst conditions, worst healthcare, (Africa) has there not been a million deaths so far? We have a couple of cases here in the US. May have more than a few deaths even under the best circumstances of US healthcare and technology. Concern? Maybe. Fear and freaking out? No. H1n1 -18,000 deaths worldwide. SARS, under 1k deaths in China. Both were called pandemics. Both said millions would die. By the way Baking soda can keep a lot if flu/cold illnesses away and its great for GERD and high blood pressure.
