We had a family hike during a warm spring day in May. I was the only person hiking barefoot. I took a photo of my foot beside these hideously silly looking synthetic shoes. To my pleasant surprise I found them in our trash bin after our visitors journeyed to their homes. Great news. This young man has taken up gold. Last evening he texted to say that he played his first 18 holes of golf barefoot. What a better place to experience the joys of touching the earth than on a lawned golf course. I included this photo of a barefoot grad jumping for joy. My daughter presented a Scholarship Award yesterday. The young lady accepting the award was barefoot. The message is getting to public that chucking foot coverings is okay.
