We had a grand time at Audacia manor on Sunday. Funny enough I was watching the chicken fight on this group while we were sitting back on that very luxurious veranda, and I chuckled sadistically as I cast my eyes towards Addington beach. There are actually menu items for R40. Beautiful starters like Camembert baked in rosemary and red wine, and Veg medley Ciabatta with the most scrumptious roasted veg. The Cajun Linefish was sublime, as well as Oxtail Wellington. (Deboned oxtail on a tart tatin) Jay Pee called it a Oxtail bunny.:-) The coffee deserves special mention too. Colombo beans on tap.This is what I love most about Durban - historic hotels where you can sit back, get spoilt, and feel like you are on holiday. Worth a visit people!
