We had a meeting with the city administrator today. We have a permit now for a total of twelve ducks. This is up from the nine that was originally granted. This means that this fall we will be getting a female normal mandarin and a pair of white mandarins. It is disappointing that we are unable to get the number of breeders that we originally asked for, but maybe in time we can convince the city that we are responsible with our animals and they will increase the number. At least we will still be able to provide ducklings for the upcoming spring. Thanks for your support and concern throughout this ordeal. It is greatly appreciated!
