We had a nice time in Barkerville today. We left just ahead of a thunderstorm. It was just starting to rain when we left and by the time we had gone around a few corners it stopped. Then it started to get hot again. It was 35 degrees in Quesnel today! We leave tomorrow, but have decided, partly due to distance and partly do to the heat, that we will overnight tomorrow night in the tourist Mecca of Cache Creek. That we break the distanc up into two easier rides. So we will be home om Monday.
