We had a pretty rough night, last night. Bobby couldnt settle, i think it was a combination of discomfort and the fact there were a gazillion bandicoots, wallabies and rabbits have a Torment the Hounds in the House convention on the camomile lawn. :( Rod was leaving for Hobart at 6 am, so I spent the night in the lounge room with the kids. OMG! It was like having two toddlers in the room. (Ellie slept like a dead thing, so she was no hassle). But Jazz and Bobby took turns at waking me up. Whining, barking and scratching the cover off the matress. Fast forward to 8.30 when I was supposed to be on the road with Bobby (for his vet appointment) and Conor woke me up. I still made it there before the 9 am cutoff. Unshowered and uncoffeed, but on time... I picked poor Bobby up at 3.30, and Bob took me aside and showed me the x-ray. Bobby has fractured 3 bones in his foot/ankle. No surgery, just a splint and bandage. Poor Bobby, he wouldnt look at me for hours after getting home. you could see him thinking Muuuuuum! You left me at that horrible place, they hurt me!. He is gradually coming around. And to top it all off, it has been pissing with rain. So nobody has been walked and the kids are bouncing off the walls. Sigh...
