We had a very blessed service at Church today, then as we got ready to leave, a very dear friend ( who we used to work with at Serenity temporary housing on C street) came up to hug us and wish us a Merry Christmas she slipped me a small white gift box, then we got home, there was a knock on the door and a group I belong to, that helped me help the young Fathers and their children brought in the makings for Christmas dinner, plus eggs, flour and a few things to help me be able to bake... I want to Thank them all for the blessings they bestowed on us , I pray they all have a truly wonderful Christmas filled with love and laughter and lots of Joy... as I have said many times it takes a Village... we all need to step up and do what we can to lend a helping hand... a hand up ... It truly comes back 10 fold... I will never forget that Jesus is the reason for the season... For our Family we celebrate the Birth of Christ and because he stands for love, we try to help as many as we can be able to celebrate with their families ... What ever you choose to call it or what ever Faith or belief system you have... I wish you a joyous season ..If you know of anyone that will be a lone and your able to invite them to share the day with you , do it, it will brighten their day and yours ..... Merry Christmas
