We had a wonderful night at Gold Creek Station on Monday. We were joined by 100 future world leaders visiting Canberra as part of a DFAT program. After Violet welcomed us to her ancestors home. It was time to experience sheep shearing and the dogs rounding up the sheep. We than sat down to a hearty meal and shared life experiences around the open fires. Its such a joy to talk to people from counties like Costa Rica, Nepal, Indonesia, Zambia and the West Indies just to name a few. Its nights like this that show me that the world is filled with wonderful people all different, but in some ways we are all the same.
