We had an AWESOME day in Norwich yesterday. We had the biggest blood drive in a long time and we are so grateful to those who came. Dans classmates were there, his aunt and cousins came and friends galore joined to help us celebrate and honor Dan. We are also thankful for the 81 pints of life-saving blood that we collected. If you were not able to come to this drive, please try to stop by APD on Wednesdays, this month and every month, from 12-5 to donate. This month is challenging for the Red Cross and if your family member or mine needs blood this month we can make sure it will be available. A shout out to my volunteers Beverly Bailey Martin, Leslie Lewis, Melissa Reed, Ben, John, Reta, Bunny, Mary, my Red Cross Rep, Michelle Heleba, 99 ROCKs Chris Garrett, the Town of Norwich for the Hall and Dan Fraser who invited us to join the 19 days of Norwich. It truly does take a VILLAGE! As I have said many times, it was a true tragedy that my son died at 15 and I could not prevent it, however, I will do my best to make sure he is not forgotten, for that I could not bear.
